This full-time Dishwasher position is responsible for maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. Key duties include scraping and rinsing food from dirty dishes, washing them by hand or machine to ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation, and washing pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures. The role also involves polishing silver using various methods and ensuring compliance with all outlined safety procedures, including maintaining proper temperatures and chemical levels. The Dishwasher is expected to keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards, sweep and mop kitchen floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces. Additional responsibilities include removing trash, steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans, transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and assisting with loading and unloading supplies and product. The schedule may vary, and working weekends is required.
