About The Position

The AC Hotel Dayton, located in the vibrant Water Street District of Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a Dishwasher to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the kitchen. The dishwasher will be responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils, as well as maintaining equipment and the dishwashing area according to hotel specifications and sanitation standards. The position requires adherence to state sanitation and health regulations, as well as proper and safe use of equipment and cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Ability to count.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with management and co-workers to their understanding.
• Physical strength and stamina to spend long hours standing and performing repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine to wash designated restaurant and kitchen wares according to hotel specifications and standards.
• Clean and maintain equipment and respective areas.
• Wash pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils/equipment.
• Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely.
• Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated items, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
