Requirements

Current high school student, high school diploma, or equivalent required.
Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to pass state mandated background check.
Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with staff, residents, and visitors.

Nice To Haves

Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans while ensuring all items are properly sanitized and stored.
Follow safety procedures for dishwashing machines, monitor water temperature, and notify the supervisor of equipment concerns.
Properly handle and discard leftover food, empty trash containers, and uphold infection control guidelines.
Assist with restocking food and non-food items to support kitchen operations.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive kitchen environment.
Other duties as assigned.
