About The Position

Dining Services is looking for a weekend/part-time dishwasher to join their team in a healthcare community. This is a great opportunity for someone who is 18+, dependable, friendly, and looking to gain valuable work experience while working in a professional environment. Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Dependable and able to follow a schedule.
Comfortable following written and verbal instructions.
Able to communicate in English.
Friendly, respectful, and comfortable working with older adults.
A team player who is willing to pitch in and help.
Able to work independently when needed.
Comfortable doing physical, active work.
Interested in learning about food service, healthcare, hospitality, or senior living.
Must meet applicable Title 22 requirements.
Must pass a required criminal record clearance before beginning work.
A required health screening must be completed, including applicable tuberculosis screening requirements.
Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Nice To Haves

Food service or dishwashing experience is a plus, but not required!

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and put away dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Keep the kitchen, dish room, and dining areas clean and organized.
Empty trash and help with kitchen cleanup.
Help serve residents in the dining room when needed.
Work together with coworkers to get the job done.
Treat residents, families, visitors, and coworkers with kindness and respect.
Report any changes in a resident’s condition or safety concerns to a supervisor.
Follow health, safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Be flexible and willing to help wherever needed.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director.
