About The Position

The Playa Vista campus is a vibrant hub for creative technology and media companies, fostering innovation and collaboration. Currently, we are actively seeking a skilled and reliable Dishwasher to become an integral part of our dynamic team. As a Part Time Dishwasher up to 30 hours a week, you'll ensure a clean and efficient kitchen, contributing to a positive dining experience for our faculty and staff.

Requirements

Dishwashing experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
Able to read documents and written instructions to understand sanitation requirements, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.
Stand for long hours, often in wet conditions.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (racks of dishes, garbage bags).
Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment.
Bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
Operate dishwashing equipment safely.

Nice To Haves

Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and maintain its proper functioning.
Support the kitchen team by organizing and restocking clean dishes, glassware, and silverware.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, collaborating with fellow team members.
Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines for proper handling and disposal of waste.
Assist in maintaining smooth kitchen operations by working closely with the culinary staff.
