About The Position

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. This position is responsible for washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while ensuring all sanitation and food safety standards are followed. The Dishwasher also assists with general kitchen cleaning and organization to support smooth daily operations. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.78 (Per CBA).

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and kitchen work areas.
  • Empty trash and recycling, and keep waste areas clean.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors throughout the shift.
  • Clean and sanitize sinks, counters, shelves, and food preparation areas.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
  • Restock clean dishes, cookware, and utensils in designated storage areas.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Support kitchen staff with general cleaning and other duties as assigned.
