About The Position

Givens Estates, a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, is looking for a Full Time Dishwasher/Utility position to help support our Health Services Dining team. The primary purpose of your position is to be flexible and knowledgeable in the areas of the dish room, stock, cleaning, and sanitation of equipment and food preparation. This role will require availability for both early morning and evening shifts and weekends, hours ranging from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Requirements

• Prefer on-the-job three (3) months of supervised training
• Working knowledge of sanitary standards related to food handling and preparation
• Must know or have the ability to handle and operate equipment in assigned area

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dish room equipment is in good working condition
• Complete all opening and closing duties as assigned
• Maintain clean working environment
• Sweep & mop area on a daily basis to maintain required sanitary standards
• Checks in stock by physically comparing the invoice to the product and checks for appropriate temperatures, correct products, mispicks, and damage to shipments
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
