About The Position

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken is hiring Dishwashers / Utility / Bussers to help keep the restaurant and facility clean, organized, and operating smoothly during shifts. Utility team members handle tasks including deliveries and inventory, dishwashing and pans, maintenance, general cleanliness, bussing, and turning over tables. The role involves working as a team to keep the restaurant clean and organized, including during busy periods.

The Porter position focuses on receiving deliveries, checking invoices for completion and accuracy, rotating products properly, and stocking the restaurant. Porters help ensure the restaurant has the supplies it needs to serve guests. The position regularly involves moving and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. A pallet jack and/or keg lift may be operated after training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, property, and facility during a shift.
• Handle dishwashing and cleaning pans.
• Assist with deliveries and inventory, maintenance, and general cleanliness.
• Bus tables and turn them over for the next guests.
• Receive deliveries, check invoices for completion and accuracy, rotate products, and stock the restaurant (Porter duties).
• Move and lift items weighing 50 pounds regularly (Porter duties).
• Operate a pallet jack and/or keg lift after receiving training, as applicable.
