About The Position

We are seeking a Full-Time Dishwasher/Steward to join our team at Renaissance Allentown. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as contributing to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment. This position offers an hourly wage of $17.

Nice To Haves

Previous dishwashing, stewarding, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
Operate dishwashing equipment according to established procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas.
Sweep and mop floors and clean work surfaces as needed.
Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating supplies and deliveries.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to management.
Assist kitchen staff with cleaning and other duties as assigned.
