About The Position

Responsible for fostering a fun environment, being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers, and promoting and maintaining the ACES program. This role involves learning and understanding the use of all chemicals used in kitchen operations, following daily station assignments, and performing all aspects of dish/pot washing. The position also includes trash removal, cleaning of receptacles and recyclables, maintaining clean floors, and ensuring proper storage of equipment, chemicals, and supplies in compliance with departmental, company, and OSHA standards. Additionally, the role is responsible for stocking and restocking food line china and utensils. All duties are determined on business needs and other duties may be assigned as required.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Six plus months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.
  • Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting and fractions.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be able to obtain ServSafe.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

  • Promote and maintain all steps of the ACES program with each patron and employee you may come in contact with (eye contact, hi- greeting, goodbye as a departure)
  • Learning and understanding the use of all chemicals used in kitchen operations
  • Follow specific daily station assignments checklists as directed by Executive Steward and F&B Management
  • Responsible for all aspects of dish/pot washing including but not limited to using the dish machines, pot sink/power soak sink, and all other basic stewarding duties
  • Responsible for all trash removal, cleaning of trash receptacles, removal and proper disposal of all recyclables as defined by property and state/local initiatives
  • Keeping all floors swept/mopped and free of debris during shift and as directed by Executive Steward and F&B Management
  • Ensure proper storage of equipment, chemicals, and restaurant supplies in compliance with departmental, company, and OSHA standards, in the dish and pot rooms, kitchens, mop rooms, and trash dock. This includes but is not limited to china, glassware, silverware, trash cans, trash dumpsters, pots, & pans
  • Ensure the proper stocking and restocking of all food line china and utensils before, during, and after the restaurant hours of operation
  • All duties above are determined on business needs and other duties may be assigned as required
