Requirements
- Current Food Handler's Card or willing to certify
- Proper knife skills and technique
- Restaurant industry experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Background check required
Responsibilities
- Operate the dish washing machine and keep up with the needs of the kitchen, restaurant, and banquet facility as needed by providing immaculately cleaned dishware, utensils, etc.
- Carry out cleaning projects and food prep duties during down time as assigned by the exec/sous chef.
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by performing routine cleaning tasks around the facility.
- Operate the dish washing machine
- Handle all washing in a timely fashion keeping up with facilities needs
- Maintain a clean workstation
- Contribute heavily to maintaining a clean kitchen environment
- Participate as a team member
- Complete food prep projects as assigned by the exec/sous chef
- Actively seek extra projects during down time
