About The Position
Nothing Bundt Cakes #34 is hiring a part-time Dishwasher and Bakery Assistant. This role offers perfect hours for a balanced work schedule, with the bakery closed on Sundays and major holidays. The position involves washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness of the bakery, assisting bakers and frosters, and performing general cleaning tasks. The environment is described as fun and joyful, with a focus on bringing joy to guests and communities.
Requirements
- Good physical stamina
- Ability to be active and on your feet several hours at a time
- Able to understand written and oral directions
- Ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (as much as 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to evaluate processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards
- Discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards
- Diligent, organized and self-motivated
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Washing all dishes
- Keeping all walls, floors, shelves and surfaces clean
- Assisting Baker and Froster with daily tasks and assisting other departments as needed
- Cleaning refrigerators
- Folding boxes
- Emptying trash and taking to dumpster
- Other general cleaning
