About The Position

This role is for a Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper on the Day Shift with an immediate opening at Miles Table & Catering in Philadelphia. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-2:00 PM, with some weekends as needed. The position involves washing dishes, maintaining the dish area, restocking, cleaning equipment, and assisting with basic catering prep. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, a team player, able to stand and move quickly in a busy kitchen, and follows food safety standards. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash, scrub, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, sheet trays, and utensils
• Keep dish area clean and organized; break down boxes, handle trash & recycling
• Put away clean wares in the correct stations; restock as needed
• Clean/organize event platters and kitchen equipment
• Help with basic catering prep (peeling, chopping, labeling, portioning)
• Support closing/turnover checklists to keep the kitchen running smoothly
