About The Position
The dishwasher will be responsible for washing dishes with an automatic machine during high volume. They must ensure the plates are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked for kitchen use during operating hours. They will also be responsible for cleaning all kitchen utensils at the end of the night to ensure we meet health code requirements. This is a part-time position and requires availability for evening shifts from 4 PM to 12 AM, Tuesday through Saturday, as needed. The establishment is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Requirements
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Washing dishes with an automatic machine during high volume.
- Ensuring plates are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked for kitchen use.
- Cleaning all kitchen utensils at the end of the night to meet health code requirements.
- Attention to detail.
- Perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Washing pots and pans.
- Putting away all dishes and glasses.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Chef or General Manager.
- Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
- Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
