About The Position

The dishwasher will be responsible for washing dishes with an automatic machine during high volume. They must ensure the plates are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked for kitchen use during operating hours. They will also be responsible for cleaning all kitchen utensils at the end of the night to ensure health code requirements are met. This is a part-time position and requires availability for evening shifts from 4 PM to 12 AM, Tuesday through Saturday, as needed. The establishment is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Requirements

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes with an automatic machine during high volume.
• Ensuring plates are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked for kitchen use.
• Cleaning all kitchen utensils at the end of the night to meet health code requirements.
• Washing pots and pans.
• Putting away all dishes and glasses.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by the Chef or General Manager.
• Maintaining regular and timely attendance.
• Following 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
