About The Position

The Night Shift Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and closing down the kitchen. This role involves washing all cookware, trays, and utensils, ensuring the line is stocked with clean tools during the dinner rush, and performing deep cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. The position also includes emptying kitchen bins, breaking down boxes, and taking trash to dumpsters. The dishwasher must remain on shift until all dishes and closing tasks are fully completed, with the estimated finish time being 1 AM.

Requirements

• Must stay until the job is done (1 AM finish is an estimate).
• Standing and walking for up to 8 hours.
• Lifting heavy trash and boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable night-shift transportation.

Responsibilities

• Wash all cookware, trays, and utensils using machines or 3-compartment sinks.
• Keep the line stocked with clean tools during busy evening hours.
• Wash heavy grill parts, line pans, and food containers at closing.
• Sweep and mop all floors; sanitize counters and walk-in coolers.
• Empty kitchen bins, break down boxes, and take trash to dumpsters.
• Stay on-shift until all dishes and closing tasks are 100% complete.
