About The Position
Dish Steward - Evening Shift at Boutique Hotel Join our boutique hotel team as a Dish Steward and play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to ensure our guests experience the highest standards of hygiene and service during the evening hours. Requirements
- Previous experience in a dishwashing or stewarding role preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards in a hospitality setting
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and prep tasks as needed
- Monitor and manage dishwashing supplies and report shortages
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas during the shift
