About The Position

The Leidos Intelligence Sector is seeking a Mid-Level Disclosure Representative (FDO) to support the OSINT Mission at DIA/NDOC. This position will be located at one of our customer sites in either Bethesda, MD; Reston, VA; or Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. This exciting opportunity will enable you to leverage your experience in support of the DIA OSINT mission. In this mission space, we support DIA/NDOC’s OSINT production on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE). The Leidos effort consists of five main tasks: collecting and reporting, mission and information technology architecture, policy and OSINT governance support, OSINT strategic communications strategy support, and OSINT specialized tradecraft and training development support. As a Foreign Disclosure Officer, you will support mission operations and the review, coordination, and release of classified information to foreign partners at DIA/NDOC. In this role, you will evaluate information for foreign disclosure eligibility, ensure compliance with applicable U.S. Government and Intelligence Community policies, and support timely and accurate release decisions in coordination with authorized disclosure authorities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, policy-driven, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
  • U.S. Citizenship required per program requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in intelligence studies, or relevant field, or an additional four years of relevant experience for a total of seven years of experience in intelligence studies or relevant field.
  • Candidates with a minimum of 3 years of of foreign disclosure or security classification management experience will also be considered.
  • Intermediate understanding of foreign disclosure policy and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Eight years of foreign disclosure or security classification management experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.
  • Strong working knowledge of the concepts and principles of foreign disclosure stipulated in the NDP and relevant directives.
  • Successful polygraph within the last 5 years is a significant advantage and preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review classified information to determine foreign disclosure eligibility in accordance with applicable U.S. Government and IC policies, including the National Disclosure Policy (NDP).
  • Coordinate with authorized disclosure authorities to support approval, release, or denial of information to foreign partners.
  • Apply appropriate classification, dissemination, and handling requirements to ensure compliance with governing directives.
  • Assists in advising on foreign disclosure guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of disclosure decisions, approvals, and released products in accordance with established procedures.
  • Support the preparation of disclosure guidance, reports, and justification materials for senior review.
  • Collaborate with analysts, collectors, and mission partners to ensure accurate understanding of disclosure requirements and constraints.
  • Monitor changes in policy and guidance to ensure continued compliance with evolving foreign disclosure standards.
  • Support training and advisory functions related to foreign disclosure processes and procedures as required.
