About The Position

Anderson University’s Campus Ministries invites applications for a part-time position as Discipleship Assistant. This is an internship opportunity for the 2026-27 academic year. The Discipleship Assistant serves as an integral member of Anderson University's Campus Ministries team, helping foster the spiritual growth and discipleship of students through meaningful relationships, leadership development, and ministry programming. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Christian Life/Director of Campus Ministries, the Discipleship Assistant will intentionally mentor student leaders through prayer, Bible study, encouragement, and one-on-one discipleship while helping them deepen their relationship with Christ and develop healthy spiritual disciplines. The role also contributes to the success of weekly worship services, leadership gatherings, retreats, and other Campus Ministries events by assisting with planning, coordination, hospitality, and event execution. In addition, the intern will help develop and encourage student leaders by supporting leadership teams, mentoring community group leaders, and assisting with leadership training. The ideal candidate is a committed follower of Jesus Christ who demonstrates spiritual maturity, actively participates in a local church, and has a passion for investing in the lives of college students. This position averages approximately 12 hours per week with a flexible schedule that includes some evenings and occasional weekend events, offering intentional mentoring and practical ministry experience in discipleship, leadership development, event planning, and campus ministry within a Christ-centered university community.

Responsibilities
