Requirements

1 year healthcare or retail pharmacy experience
Pharmacy Technician License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Strong communication skills
Intermediate computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Office and other applicable computer systems

Nice To Haves

Associates degree
Knowledge of Cover My Meds, foundation assistance programs, CRX, Medicare B & D, how to fill and check pharmacy scripts and co-pay and manufacture coupon assistance

Responsibilities

Develops and cultivates relationships with targeted referral sources.
Obtains referral and patient's insurance information.
Educates patients about the program by meeting with them individually, provides informational program materials and offers a consult from a pharmacist.
Maintains documentation of all HIPAA forms and delivery tickets
Works with hospital staff to refer indigent patients to INTEGRIS Patient Assistance Program or other applicable assistance programs.
Handles delivery of medication to discharging patient's room and follows up with staff once complete.
Resolves rejections from pharmacy payors on medications.
