This is a senior individual contributor role focused on establishing and owning the enterprise-wide Digital Disaster Recovery and resilience program. The primary goal is to ensure the company can recover critical digital infrastructure and technical business operations following cyber incidents, infrastructure failures, or human error. The role is execution-focused, requiring partnerships across the enterprise to make recovery real, tested, and repeatable. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure-level disaster recovery processes for various platforms such as compute, storage, network, identity, virtualization, and cloud. The strategist will develop and validate recovery runbooks, sequencing plans, failover procedures, and dependency maps. They will lead and execute technical DR tests, including component-level restores, partial failovers, and full integrated recovery exercises. The position also involves identifying and documenting Tier 0/Tier 1 dependencies, collaborating with platform owners to define and enforce RTO/RPO objectives, and validating backup recoverability. Furthermore, the strategist will coordinate engineers across multiple teams during tests and real incidents, drive remediation of gaps, and serve as the primary point of contact for Internal Audit and external assessors for DDR scope, managing audit evidence and compliance documentation.
