About The Position

The Demolition Technician position is a career in property damage restoration industry, primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations. Our team addresses the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism, preserving as much of the property as possible while working safely and efficiently on the job site. This is a career in property restoration with paid training and on-the-job experience, opening doors to real long-term career potential, from entry-level tech to lead tech, project manager, or even running jobs and teams. It's an active role that's a lot of fun and not stuck at a desk, and it stays in demand even when other industries slow down. It is meaningful, rewarding and worthwhile work helping people in times of crisis, providing services to those in need. You will receive good, predictable hourly pay with the chance to earn more as you gain skills and certifications. Paul Davis provides paid IICRC training when classes are available.

Responsibilities

  • High level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement and carpet cleaning/reinstallation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.
  • Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
  • Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
  • Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.
  • Assist other team members as you see opportunities arise and be a leader for the team when needed.
