The Disaster Human Services Social Worker serves as a human services subject-matter resource on Disaster Human Services Impact Assessment operations. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes civil engineers and other qualified personnel, the Social Worker evaluates and documents how disaster impacts to human service provider facilities, equipment, vehicles, grounds, and operations may affect the provider's ability to deliver services and the community's ability to access them. The position contributes a social work and human services perspective to assessment findings, resource coordination, reporting, and recovery considerations.
