About The Position

This position involves a variety of tasks, including the operation of basic hand tools and the detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will verify the tag of the Bill of Materials (BOM) matches the unit provided. The associate will then begin the disassembly process by removing components such as bolts and seals from the outside of the unit. Following this, the oil pan will be removed to expose the internal parts. Subsequently, components like the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs will be removed. Finally, associates will clean parts using solvent, place them in baskets, and send them through a washer.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approximately 8-10 hours).
  • Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided.
  • Remove bolts, seals, etc. from the outside of the unit.
  • Remove the oil pan of the unit.
  • Remove internal parts such as the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs.
  • Clean parts using solvent.
  • Place parts in baskets and send through a washer.
