About The Position

This position involves a variety of tasks, including the operation of basic hand tools and the detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will first verify that the BOM tag matches the provided unit (core). Following this, the associate will begin the disassembly process by removing external bolts, seals, etc. from the unit. The oil pan will then be removed, uncovering the internal parts. Next, the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, etc. will be removed. Finally, associates must clean parts using solvent, place them in baskets, and send them through a washer.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.
• Standing: Continuously
• Walking: Occasionally
• Sitting: Never
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally.
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided.
• Remove bolts, seals, etc. from the outside of the unit.
• Remove the oil pan of the unit.
• Remove the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, etc.
• Clean parts using solvent.
• Place parts in baskets.
• Send parts through a washer.
