About The Position

Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division is seeking a Disassembly I position at their Corinth, MS facility. This role involves disassembling engines and/or components and performing correct sorting of components. The work environment is fast-paced, safety and quality focused. Cross-training in other Salary Grade 1 positions such as Cleaning 1, Assembly 1, and Logistics 1 may be required. The position requires the use of various hand and power tools, and potentially overhead hoists, manual and electric pallet jacks, and overhead cranes for moving large components. Use of a respirator may be required for detail/cleaning tasks. Operators will handle material, unload parts, sort incoming material, and may perform data entry. Regular use of computer systems, including email, is expected. All operators must adhere to Built-in-Safety guidelines, demonstrate attention to detail, be self-motivated, work in a team environment, and function without close supervision.

Requirements

Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)
Required to read/write and interpret documents
Experience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc.)
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
Prior use of hoists
Knowledge of engines and components

Disassemble engines and/or components

Utilize various computer systems including email on a regular basis
Adhere to Built-in-Safety guidelines
Demonstrate attention to detail and be self-motivated
Work in a team environment
Work in an environment without close supervision
