About The Position

Institutional Client Group (ICG) facilitates primary origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of FIC product suite and financing to institutional clients, including financials, asset managers, pension funds, insurers, hedge funds, private equity, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds.

Requirements

  • Series 7 & 63
  • Extensive years of experience in Fixed Income
  • Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating various DB teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a team player - anticipating and solving problems for the group, have a consistent sense of urgency around doing his or her best – day in and day out
  • Strong communication skills to persuade investors to purchase DB services
  • Detail oriented and driven to succeed in a complex, fast moving environment, ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced, time sensitive work environment

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for covering important institutional clients at a senior level within our Rates Sales team as part of the Short Duration desk
  • Have strong relationships with partners, senior PMs, principals and capital markets professionals at the clients you cover and to work collaboratively with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative solutions for your client base.
  • Strategic planning, budgeting, client wallet share analysis and help generate new revenue opportunities within the banks and insurance clients
  • New business development in particular within the Short duration space, drive sales growth by creating new / developing existing relationships
  • Generate new revenue opportunities for the Rates business, think strategically about the business, stay on top of market themes/trends
