Requirements

  • Must have experience in consulting
  • Extensive experience in consulting or industry roles, with a focus on any of the following client segments: Wholesale Capital Markets, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Treasury Cash Management & Trading, Commodities Trading, or Digital Assets.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex, large-scale transformation programs within the above client segments.
  • In-depth understanding of technology capabilities and key vendor landscapes relevant to the above client segments
  • An appetite for sales: identifying new opportunities and closing deals
  • A well-established network within the Canadian Capital Markets, Asset Management, or Wealth Management sector, with a proven record of collaboration with senior executives.
  • Proven experience in partnering with senior executives to develop and execute business strategies.
  • Experience developing technology strategies and roadmaps, including familiarity with various frameworks and methodologies, to support the delivery of as-is, future state and transformed services.
  • Ability to effectively manage teams in a matrix environment, balancing competing priorities and client initiatives.
  • A strong dedication to valuing diversity, developing and mentoring diverse teams, and ensuring that diverse perspectives are acknowledged and incorporated.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with key financial services clients, focusing on comprehensive business relationships across front office, operations, risk and technology functions.
  • Monitor industry trends and deliver actionable insights that empower clients to make informed, strategic decisions and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Spearhead sales, preparation of project proposals, points of view (PoVs), resource planning, and project estimations for client engagements, integrating across lines of services and global capabilities as required.
  • Oversee the execution of client engagements, ensuring effective stakeholder management, optimal resource allocation, and robust budget management for successful project outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and implement innovative practices across multiple projects and environments to drive delivery efficiency.
  • Champion the growth and development of the junior members through mentorship, supervision, coaching, and recruitment. Support team members in realizing their potential and aligning their career trajectories with long-term aspirations.
