Role Summary The Director- Wealth Management Offer Strategy provides enterprise-level ownership for the strategy, design, and evolution of the firm’s most complex and high-impact wealth management offers. This role is accountable for defining future-state offers that differentiate the firm in advice-led wealth management, particularly across Individual Investors (II) and Retirement Plan Services (RPS). Operating within the Wealth Management Strategy & Transformation team, this leader sets direction, frames critical decisions, and drives outcomes for priority initiatives. The role serves as the single accountable owner for the wealth management offer strategy, ensuring alignment between client needs, segmentation, economics, and internal go-to-market execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in wealth management, product strategy, or enterprise strategy roles.
  • Demonstrated success owning complex offer strategy across multiple business lines.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical, decision-framing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity while driving structured outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Offer Strategy & Ownership: Own enterprise-level strategy and evolution for the wealth management offer across client segments, tiers, and stages of maturity, ensuring clarity on what the offer is and is not.
  • Define differentiated value propositions spanning workplace and retail channels, aligned to a hybrid, scalable advice model.
  • Develop multi-year offer roadmaps, including capability expansion into holistic services (e.g., retirement income, tax, estate, insurance via partnerships).
  • Lead build, buy, or partner evaluations to support offer expansion and competitive positioning.
  • Strategic Leadership & Decision Framing: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, framing trade-offs on segmentation, pricing, scope, and sequencing of the offer.
  • Translate research, pilot learnings, and market signals into clear, actionable offer decisions.
  • Build investment cases quantifying growth impact, economics, and required capabilities.
  • Provide thought leadership on wealth management trends and evolving client expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration & Delivery Oversight: Orchestrate execution across II, RPS, Advice, Technology, Marketing, and Compliance to bring offers to market.
  • Ensure alignment between offer design and enabling capabilities (e.g., planning tools, onboarding, income solutions).
  • Oversee prioritization of offer-related backlogs and ensure readiness for launch.
  • Operating Model & Change Enablement: Translate offer strategy into operating model implications, including roles, incentives, and client journeys.
  • Align KPIs and success metrics tied to advice adoption, conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Support change management to enable adoption across distribution and advisory teams.
