About The Position

This is a critical leadership role at the intersection of customer relationships, supply operations, and company growth. You will own the end-to-end supply chain function — from procurement through delivery — and serve as the primary operational partner to our B2B customers. This is a hands-on role. You will be present on the floor, in customer conversations, and in supplier negotiations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive supply chain leadership in nutraceutical, food & beverage, or contract manufacturing
  • Proven track record managing B2B customer relationships at a senior level
  • Hands-on leadership style — comfortable on the floor and in the data
  • Strong background in procurement, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing
  • Solid foundation in demand planning, S&OP, inventory management, and logistics
  • Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams
  • ERP proficiency — JD Edwards (JDE) preferred, other platforms considered
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field required
  • High energy, bias toward action, and comfort operating in a fast-growing environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior supply chain point of contact for B2B customers — managing expectations, escalations, and strategic relationships
  • Communicate proactively on order status, capacity, and delivery timelines
  • Build and deepen long-term partnerships with key accounts
  • Lead and develop four direct reports: Supply Chain Planning Manager, Procurement Manager, Warehouse Manager, and IT Lead
  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus
  • Oversee sourcing, contracting, and negotiations for raw materials, packaging, and ingredients
  • Identify and develop strategic sourcing alliances to support growth and resilience
  • Manage demand planning, S&OP, production scheduling, and capacity alignment
  • Coordinate monthly forecast review meetings and align production plans with Sales and Operations
  • Maintain inventory levels aligned with turns goals and working capital targets
  • Oversee all inbound, intercompany, and outbound material movement
  • Drive cost-effective, on-time delivery performance
  • Establish and report on KPIs: on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and cost
  • Support ERP data integrity and process improvement within JD Edwards (JDE)
