Elevate the visual representation of the Guerlain brand in all point of sales across the U.S. This role involves elevating and enhancing the Guerlain image through merchandising elements and tools, including event and counter animations, and launch elements. The position requires analyzing current elements and proposing new solutions, assisting with marketing and sales efforts by designing and developing merchandising strategies, and creating visual opportunities. A visual merchandising database for department store doors will be created. The role also involves partnering with the Paris HQ Visual Merchandising team to ensure global soft merchandising development meets US market needs. Additionally, this role will partner with the Guerlain Sales Field to provide training on design concepts, visual display standards, and the maintenance of visual merchandising efforts, including on-the-job training in key flagship doors. The Director will maintain and cultivate relationships with retail partners and create a database of key contacts per retailer. For store design, the Director will partner with Paris HQ store design team to develop Guerlain flagship counters and freestanding stores, coordinating all project management aspects for construction and installation. Specific responsibilities include reviewing design and construction documents, partnering with the VP of Sales to obtain retailer approval, establishing timetables, driving project phases, coordinating the bid process, reviewing shop drawings, providing on-site construction supervision, and working with internal teams to provide proper merchandising elements for installations and coordinate punch lists.
