About The Position

Manage strategic vendor partnerships and enterprise initiatives, including vendor evaluation, contracting, implementation, governance, and performance oversight to support clinical, operational, and financial objectives. This position is remote within the United States with 10% travel required. The team primarily operates during 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Central Time hours, and candidates who can regularly work within or closely align to Central Time are preferred. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 7+ years of vendor management experience.
  • Government programs health care or related experience in multiple areas of operations.
  • Proficient with MS-Project or other project management software and MS-Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management, administration or operations in the Healthcare industry preferred.
  • Experience in training/education and use of statistical analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and support strategic enterprise vendor opportunities, including business case development, RFI/RFP coordination, vendor selection activities, contract development, negotiations and implementations.
  • Lead stakeholder and oversight meetings with vendors, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations related to vendor performance, business opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between vendors and internal partners, including Clinical, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, and Technology teams.
  • Accumulate, monitor, and report on vendor performance metrics to business unit management.
  • Communicate expectations and vendor performance against established performance metrics to vendors, including development, implementation and follow up on annual vendor goals and targets.
  • Ensure applicable vendor performance improvement plans and/or corrective action plans are initiated and completed as expected. Ensure vendors sustain required performance improvements/outcomes through verification audits.
  • Conduct oversight meetings which include vendors, internal partners, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Oversee health plan participation in annual delegation audits.
  • Provide follow-through on audit deficiencies to assure corrective actions are implemented.
