About The Position

Lead and develop a high-performing team by coaching team members, establishing clear performance expectations, driving accountability for business results, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, leading organizational change, and aligning talent and team performance with departmental and strategic business objectives. Lead the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring effective execution of product evaluations, technology assessments, utilization management, and standardization initiatives. Manage the intake, prioritization, and review of new product requests, urgent requests, and product conversion initiatives in accordance with established Value Analysis governance processes. Oversee Value Analysis committees and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate timely, evidence-based decision-making. Ensure departmental compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and established Value Analysis methodologies. Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing/Supply Chain, Finance, Clinical Operations, and Nursing leadership to identify opportunities for cost reduction, improved utilization, and operational efficiency. Ensure recommendations are supported by clinical evidence, utilization, financial analysis, regulatory considerations, and stakeholder input. Track implementation progress, financial outcomes, and organizational adoption of approved initiatives. Develop and maintain departmental policies, workflows, standard operating procedures, and performance reporting. Monitor financial performance and validate savings associated with Value Analysis initiatives. Support annual operating and capital planning activities related to Value Analysis initiatives Build strong working relationships with physicians, clinicians, executives, supply chain, finance, infection prevention, quality, information technology, and operational leaders. Facilitate productive discussions that build consensus around product selection, utilization, and standardization decisions. Present recommendations, implementation plans, and project outcomes to leadership, committees, and stakeholders. Serve as the primary departmental resource for complex Value Analysis issues and escalations. Lead AI adoption across the Value Analysis team by integrating AI tools into departmental workflows that improve analysis, documentation, research, reporting, and communication.
