About The Position

Our focus is on innovation and launch excellence, translating breakthrough science into innovative medicines that help people with cancer across the globe. We are currently recruiting for a Director, U.S. Oncology Marketing, Lung, Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary Strategy Lead for the U.S. Oncology Lung, Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary Team. This position is responsible for leading U.S. health care provider marketing strategy, launch planning, commercialization readiness, and Product Owner responsibilities for an investigational oncology asset across lung, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers. As a key member of the Oncology Marketing Leadership Team, this role will translate emerging clinical data, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and global strategies into a differentiated U.S. commercial plan that supports launch readiness and long-term franchise growth. The Director will serve as the commercial Product Owner for health care provider customer engagement, translating brand and launch strategy into prioritized, compliant omnichannel experiences. The role will own the health care provider product vision, outcome roadmap, and backlog; lead agile customer team execution; and make trade-off decisions to maximize customer and business impact. The role will advance our Company’s marketing capabilities through Agile, test-and-learn, and continuous-optimization practices while partnering across U.S., global, and alliance stakeholders to deliver business objectives. As marketing roles across the US Oncology organization continue to evolve and broaden, this position is designed to be a flexible leadership role that may focus on various aspects of oncology commercialization over time based on business needs and portfolio evolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum eight years of marketing experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry, including at least five years of oncology marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading commercial strategy, product launch planning, or major business initiatives.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience building enterprise Agile marketing capabilities through an agile customer team or a directly comparable enterprise Agile marketing model, including operating norms, governance, test-and-learn practices, performance measurement, and omnichannel engagement.
  • Proven experience working directly within an agile customer team and serving in a Product Owner or equivalent decision-making role, with accountability for product vision, outcome roadmaps, backlog prioritization, strategic trade-offs, and customer and business outcomes.
  • Experience translating brand strategy, customer insights, market research, and analytics into engagement roadmaps, operational priorities, measurable outcomes, and continuous optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, drive alignment across matrix organizations, and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
  • Experience developing promotional materials and navigating Legal, Regulatory, and Medical review processes while managing multiple priorities and critical business milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of U.S. health care provider strategy, positioning, messaging, and launch plans for an investigational oncology asset across lung, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers.
  • Translate emerging clinical data, customer insights, market research, analytics, and competitive intelligence into actionable commercial strategies and recommendations.
  • Lead launch readiness planning, including milestone development, risk assessment, scenario planning, and executional readiness.
  • Guide the development of health care provider promotional campaigns, disease education initiatives, congress strategies, scientific engagement resources, and customer engagement plans.
  • Monitor the evolving lung, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancer treatment landscapes, clinical programs, treatment guidelines, and competitive activity to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Support portfolio prioritization, investment decisions, and long-range franchise strategy.
  • Partner with Global Marketing to ensure U.S. customer needs, market dynamics, and commercial priorities are reflected in global strategy and launch planning.
  • Serve as the commercial Product Owner for health care provider customer engagement, owning the product vision, outcome roadmap, and prioritized omnichannel backlog aligned with brand strategy, customer needs, and business objectives.
  • Lead agile customer team planning and execution, setting priorities, making trade-offs, removing barriers, and focusing resources on the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Translate commercial strategy and customer insights into clear engagement plans, executional priorities, and measurable outcomes.
  • Define success measures, monitor performance, and apply test-and-learn approaches to continuously optimize personal and non-personal health care provider engagement.
  • Champion Agile marketing practices and advance enterprise marketing capabilities and ways of working across the oncology franchise.
  • Lead complex cross-functional teams and build alignment across Global Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Analytics, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Field Sales, agency, and alliance stakeholders.
  • Facilitate resource allocation and strategic trade-off decisions across priorities while managing risks and critical milestones.
  • Guide the development of promotional materials through Legal, Regulatory, and Medical review processes.
  • Communicate strategies, priorities, performance, and recommendations clearly to senior leaders while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused, data-driven, and outcomes-oriented culture.
