Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 7 years of experience in finance, management consulting, investment banking, or business analysis
  • Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new business areas, ask incisive questions, and connect disparate data points into a coherent narrative
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and draw conclusions from incomplete or ambiguous information
  • Business Partnering skills – ability to engage credibly with commercial leaders, translate complex financial concepts into plain language, and influence decision-making at senior levels
  • Strong analytical capability with a bias toward insight over process
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story through data
  • Confidence engaging with and constructively challenging senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes teamwork and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance interface to US Hematology/Nephrology leadership, providing trusted advice on financial management and business performance.
  • Analyze brand and portfolio results to surface trends, risks, and opportunities; translate data into actionable insights that influence commercial decisions.
  • Coordinate revenue and expense forecasts across planning cycles; test assumptions, quantify variability, and ensure submissions are robust and achievable.
  • Advise the Business Unit Leader and leadership team on resource optimization, investment cases, business development, sales optimization, launch excellence, and sustained growth.
  • Proactively identify and quantify areas for revenue growth, cost efficiencies, and improved return on investment across the portfolio.
  • Partner with indication teams to complete planning cycles and co-develop strategic plans grounded in rigorous financial analysis.
  • Lead business cases for life cycle management, resource changes, and portfolio expansion, with clear scenarios and recommendations.
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities; deliver concise, insight-led analysis and commentary to stakeholders.
  • Present forecasts, performance, and risk/opportunity perspectives to the US Leadership Team, including materials for quarterly investment briefings.
  • Align financial plans with commercial priorities; manage operating expenses across key support functions.
  • Strengthen finance processes, tools, and governance; embed continuous improvement within areas of accountability.
  • Anticipate future information needs and deliver efficient, scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Lead and contribute to high-impact, time-sensitive projects as needed.
