About The Position

This role supports the US launch preparation for zola-cel (CD19 NEX-T CAR T) in Rheumatology. Bristol Myers Squibb is a leader in Cell Therapy and Immunology, aiming to bring the transformational potential of CAR T cell therapy to patients with autoimmune diseases. Zola-cel is a key asset with the potential to change the treatment paradigm for autoimmune diseases such as Systemic Lupus and Systemic Sclerosis. This Director will be a crucial leader within the Cell Therapy Autoimmune marketing team, collaborating closely with the global commercial team and functioning as a leader within the US Commercial Matrix. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, performance-driven leader who cultivates a collaborative, customer-focused environment that promotes innovation, candor, and strategic thinking.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience.
  • Prior people leadership and in-line brand marketing experience are highly valued.
  • Proven track record of effectively driving performance within a matrix organization.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into impactful marketing strategies.
  • Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships.
  • Initiative, creativity, and ability to work effectively in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
  • High learning agility, sense of urgency, deep passion, and accountability mindset required.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate, cooperate, and work across boundaries internally while building strong external relationships.
  • BS/BA degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Rheumatology and/or Immunology experience preferred.
  • Cell Therapy experience preferred.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of the zola-cel launch strategy for Systemic Lupus and Systemic Sclerosis, in collaboration with the matrix team (including global commercial), to achieve brand ambitions and financial forecasts.
  • Influence BMS Cell Therapy Autoimmune leadership by creating a differentiated communication platform that clearly articulates zola-cel's value proposition in Systemic Lupus and Systemic Sclerosis.
  • Define and implement strategic initiatives to accelerate zola-cel's growth and expand the CAR T class in autoimmune diseases.
  • Lead the execution of US marketing plans in close collaboration with the global zola-cel team, ensuring alignment on key brand objectives and financial forecasts.
  • Develop and implement HCP targeting and segmentation strategies in collaboration with the global commercial team to optimize engagement with CAR T-treating physicians in Rheumatology.
  • Lead targeting and segmentation efforts for rheumatology community practices.
  • Utilize customer insights, brand performance data, and competitive intelligence to refine marketing strategies and address key challenges.
  • Drive the planning and execution of key senior management reviews and presentations.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and innovation across BMS stakeholder groups.
