About The Position

Provides leadership for Creighton University's Upward Bound Math Science program, one of four federally grant-funded TRIO programs. The program provides college preparatory services to first-generation and income-eligible high school students to help them pursue post-secondary education, major in a STEM field, and graduate with a bachelor's degree.

The Director oversees all aspects of the program as outlined in its grant, including staff supervision and management, delivery of grant-mandated services, implementation of the Summer Academy, development of programs focused on student success, compliance with government and University regulations and reporting, and financial accountability. The Director works closely with the Director of the Classic Upward Bound program and internal and external stakeholders, including local school districts, to implement programs supporting students. The role also builds partnerships within Creighton University that benefit program participants and serves on the Student Success leadership team, supporting divisional efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Upward Bound Math Science program.
• Supervise and manage program staff.

• Maintain financial accountability for the program.
