Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. As Director for Trusted Experiences, DeepMind (GDM), you'll define the outlook and strategy, enable strategic, technical, and operational aptitude, and cultivate a team culture by growing leaders for tomorrow. You will understand the user's point of view and are passionate about driving complex business decisions to appropriately balance unlocking the opportunities of AI while also mitigating risk - and enable our large global team to do the same. You will work cross-functionally with Engineers and Product Managers to navigate AI safety issues in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will ensure user trust and safety for the GDM products and for Google as a broader brand and company. You will be a leader who possesses the ability to work globally and cross-functionally with internal stakeholders through relationship building, influence, and communication. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
