The Director of Treasury, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Finance & Accounting, will provide strategic leadership for and build the capabilities of the treasury and insurance function. This role oversees treasury operations, banking relationships, treasury technology, financial risk management, and the company's property & casualty and directors & officers insurance programs. The Director will partner with senior Finance leadership to support capital markets, financing, and capital allocation initiatives, establishing the operating model, governance framework, policies, controls, technology roadmap, and functional capabilities to support the company's growth. This role serves as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership and leads complex cross-functional initiatives and strategic transactions.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field and 12+ years of related experience in Treasury, capital markets, investments, corporate finance, and/or insurance OR MBA/MS/MA in Finance, Business Administration, or related field and 10+ years of related experience.
  • Deep technical knowledge across corporate treasury disciplines, including liquidity, investments, capital markets, banking, derivatives, financial risk management, and corporate insurance.
  • Advanced financial modeling, market data interpretation, portfolio analytics, cash forecasting, stress testing, and scenario analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise with revolving credit facilities, debt compliance, capital markets transactions, bank groups, rating agency analysis, investment portfolios, and financing strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in corporate insurance program design and placement, including coverage and limits analysis, broker and carrier management, risk assessments, claims coordination, and executive recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of hedge accounting, ASC 815, investment accounting, fair value concepts, and treasury-related financial reporting and controls.
  • Experience leading Kyriba or another treasury management system, bank connectivity, and process transformation.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, geographic expansion, or other significant corporate transactions preferred.

  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, FXall, Clearwater, or bank portals preferred.
  • Demonstrated application of artificial intelligence, workflow automation, analytics, or data platforms to strengthen treasury efficiency, controls, and reporting.
  • CTP, CFA, CPA, MBA, or MS Finance preferred.
  • Recognized as an internal thought leader with extensive technical and business expertise in Treasury and Insurance.
  • Develops strategic plans and translates complex strategies into clear operational and tactical priorities.
  • Applies advanced analytical judgment to solve complex, ambiguous issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Influences senior leaders and communicates complex financial and risk concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Company's treasury strategy, operating plan, policies, performance measures, and multi-year capability roadmap.
  • Build and continuously enhance scalable treasury capabilities by establishing governance, operating processes, internal controls, technology, and functional capabilities.
  • Lead enterprise cash forecasting, daily liquidity management, and short- and long-term liquidity planning, including stress testing and contingency funding analyses.
  • Lead the Company's investment portfolio strategy and execution.
  • Lead strategic relationships with commercial banks, revolving credit facility lenders, investment managers, custodians, and other financial institutions.
  • Lead global treasury operations, including cash positioning, bank account administration, signatory governance, payment controls, fraud prevention, treasury compliance, and banking documentation.
  • Develop and manage intercompany funding and settlement processes.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to evaluate and execute capital markets and financing initiatives.
  • Develop analyses and recommendations supporting capital allocation decisions.
  • Develop and enhance the Company’s financial risk management framework by identifying, assessing, and monitoring financial exposures.
  • Support acquisitions, divestitures, licensing transactions, and other strategic initiatives through treasury due diligence.
  • Lead the treasury technology and automation roadmap.
  • Lead administration of the Company's property & casualty and directors & officers insurance programs.
  • Lead annual insurance renewals and market placements in partnership with insurance brokers and Legal.
  • Manage strategic relationships with insurance brokers, carriers, underwriters, claims administrators, and external advisors.
  • Partner closely with various departments to identify evolving business risks, support contractual insurance requirements, and align insurance strategies.
  • Oversee administration of global clinical trial insurance programs.
  • Partner with Legal to review contractual insurance requirements, certificates of insurance, indemnification provisions, and vendor risk transfer requirements.
  • Partner with Commercial, Legal, Human Resources, and other business leaders to support the Company's evolving insurance and risk management needs.
