Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. The Opportunity: As Director, Translational Sciences, you will be a key member of Translational Research, reporting to the Vice President of Translational Research focusing on: Lead the scientific strategy and execution of the Translational Research Assay Core, ensuring delivery of high-quality, innovative assays supporting discovery and translational programs. Establish and continuously evolve assay platforms that enable biomarker discovery, pharmacodynamic assessments, mechanism-of-action studies, and translational hypothesis testing. Drive exploratory translational research aimed at understanding mechanisms of sensitivity, intrinsic resistance, and acquired resistance across the Revolution Medicines portfolio. Develop and execute mechanistic studies using patient-derived samples, preclinical models, and emerging technologies to generate actionable biological insights. Identify novel therapeutic vulnerabilities and rational combination strategies based on clinical and preclinical findings. Translate observations from clinical studies into research hypotheses that inform target discovery, drug discovery, and translational strategies. Foster seamless bidirectional translation between clinical observations and discovery research. Apply functional genomics, single-cell and spatial approaches, and complementary molecular and cellular methods to generate decision-enabling data. Partner with computational scientists to integrate multi-omic datasets with functional biology and generate mechanistic insights. Cross-functional Leadership: Partner across Research, Translational Medicine, Bioinformatics, and Clinical Development to integrate findings into biomarker and development strategies.
