About The Position

Valley Medical Group and The Valley Hospital seek an accomplished and visionary thoracic surgeon to serve as Director, Thoracic Surgery, at Valley-Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care. The ideal candidate will combine technical excellence, including minimally invasive and robotic surgical skills, with compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to advancing the field through leadership, education, and clinical innovation in a dynamic and supportive environment. Valley holds longstanding accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons and has a strong regional reputation for excellence in multidisciplinary cancer care. The Director will collaborate with an outstanding team of pulmonologists, medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and critical care specialists. The practice offers a broad case mix including lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mediastinal disease, and foregut disorders. Valley has a robust clinical trials infrastructure, and ongoing clinical trials for patients with thoracic diseases.
