Program and Role Summary The primary focus of the Director of Therapeutic Shelter Homes, is to provide leadership, oversight, accountability, and direction for all designated therapeutic shelter homes and operational functions, including those related to direct service staff, resource family support, child and youth engagement, and behavior management by current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Under the direction and support of the Vice President of Clinical and Housing Services, this role will ensure that the highest quality client care and staff support is always maintained. This role involves developing and leading a therapeutic shelter homes program where staff support DCFS-approved resource families and children in care.
