About The Position

Responsible for coordinating, implementing, and overseeing all theater operations and production activities across The Hartt School’s Theatre, Dance, Music, and Community Divisions. Manages a high-volume, multi-venue environment. Supervises production and technical staff; coordinates schedules, budgets, and resources; and ensures the successful execution of all productions from start to finish. Ensures facilities, equipment, and technical practices are safe, well-maintained, and aligned with professional standards. Works closely with faculty, designers, guest artists, and campus partners, to support high-quality artistic outcomes while balancing operational feasibility. Through effective leadership, planning, and collaboration, this role advances production excellence, operational efficiency, and the educational mission of The Hartt School. Performs all duties in full support of the University’s mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University’s students.
