We are seeking a Director, Technology Consulting and Delivery to work closely with our VP, Technology and lead the successful delivery and growth of multiple client engagements. This leader will oversee several concurrent technology teams and projects, build trusted client relationships and create the structure and accountability needed to deliver high-quality digital products. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with consulting, delivery and account leadership. This individual can move comfortably between executive conversations and engineering details guiding teams independently, stepping into delivery discussions when needed, resolving challenges quickly and identifying opportunities to expand client partnerships. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role for a leader who thrives in a growing consulting environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
12-15+ years of progressive experience in technology consulting, software delivery, engineering or digital product development.
Consulting or professional services experience required.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the initiative to build, improve and scale teams, client relationships and delivery practices.
Proven success leading multiple technology teams and complex client engagements simultaneously with a high degree of independence.
Strong technical foundation and the ability to engage credibly with engineers, review code or technical solutions as needed and guide architecture and delivery decisions.
Experience delivering modern digital products and platforms in close partnership with software engineering, product, design and architecture teams.
Demonstrated account leadership experience, including building senior client relationships, navigating complex stakeholder environments and growing existing accounts.
Experience developing or contributing to statements of work, proposals, delivery estimates and staffing plans.
Strong financial and operational management skills, including oversight of scope, budgets, resourcing, risks and delivery performance.
Excellent communication, executive presence, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to resolve escalations, make sound decisions under pressure and bring teams through ambiguous or challenging situations.
Collaborative, pragmatic and comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on involvement.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery across four to five concurrent technology teams and client engagements, ensuring clear priorities, strong execution and high-quality outcomes.
Own day-to-day leadership of select technology accounts, serving as a trusted client partner and primary point of accountability.
Build and grow client relationships by understanding business priorities, identifying new opportunities and expanding Experient's impact within existing accounts.
Provide hands-on technical leadership across digital product development, software engineering, architecture and modern delivery practices.
Identify opportunities to apply AI and emerging technologies to enhance digital products, improve delivery and create meaningful value for clients.
Engage directly in technical details such as code, solution design and engineering tradeoffs when needed to guide decisions, unblock teams or address delivery risk.
Partner with product, design, engineering and client stakeholders to translate business objectives into practical, scalable technology solutions.
Anticipate and resolve delivery challenges, manage escalations and bring structure and calm to complex or high-pressure situations.
Maintain a consistent billable contribution across client engagements, combining account leadership with hands-on delivery and direct accountability for client outcomes.
Develop delivery plans, staffing approaches, governance, budgets and performance measures across multiple engagements.
Support the development of statements of work, proposals, estimates and delivery approaches in partnership with technology and business leaders.
Coach and develop delivery and engineering leaders, strengthen team performance and help build scalable capabilities within Experient's technology practice.
