Director, Technical Program Management

Prenuvo
$210,000 - $240,000

About The Position

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive “sick-care” to proactive healthcare. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against “we caught it too late again". We are looking for a Director of Technical Program Management to establish and lead the TPM function at Prenuvo. This is a builder role. You will define the operating model for technical program management across Product & Technology and create the planning, dependency management, risk management, and launch-readiness disciplines required to execute increasingly complex programs. You will also remain hands-on. In addition to building the function and managing a growing team, you will personally lead some of Prenuvo’s most important cross-functional programs. An immediate area of focus will be our work on patient retention and longitudinal care, where many interconnected initiatives across Product, Engineering, Clinical, Operations, Data, and Marketing must come together as one coordinated program. This role does not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa (current or future). Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience across technical program management, engineering program management, product development, or closely related roles.
  • 2+ years of people leadership, with experience developing TPMs or other technical program leaders.
  • Experience building or materially evolving program-management practices in a growing technology organization.
  • A track record leading large, technically complex initiatives involving multiple engineering and product teams.
  • Strong technical fluency. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you must be comfortable learning systems quickly and discussing architecture, APIs, data flows, platforms, technical constraints, and engineering trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated strength in dependency management, risk management, technical planning, and launch readiness.
  • Exceptional ability to turn ambiguity into structure without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Strong executive communication and the judgment to know when a problem needs escalation versus team-level resolution.
  • Experience influencing leaders and teams without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Comfort operating as both a senior leader and a hands-on program owner.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, health technology, regulated technology, or another complex environment is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth or scale-up environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish lightweight, scalable practices for program planning, governance, dependency management, risk management, and executive visibility.
  • Create clear measures of program health, technical readiness, and launch readiness that enable timely intervention.
  • Personally lead Prenuvo’s most complex, high-priority initiatives across Product, Engineering, and business functions.
  • Develop integrated program plans that clarify milestones, dependencies, sequencing, resource constraints, decisions, and critical paths.
  • Apply strong technical judgment to challenge assumptions, uncover hidden dependencies, and identify risks before they affect delivery.
  • Drive resolution of cross-team blockers and ensure critical decisions are made at the right level and time.
  • Establish consistent launch-readiness expectations across technical, operational, clinical, regulatory, privacy, legal, support, and go-to-market teams.
  • Give Product & Technology leadership a clear view of portfolio health, trade-offs, shared constraints, and upcoming decisions to improve prioritization and sequencing.
  • Recruit, develop, and coach a high-impact TPM team known for ownership, technical curiosity, transparency, and constructive challenge.
