About The Position

The Director, Talent Acquisition leads the organization’s enterprise recruiting strategy and operations as part of the Human Resources Center of Excellence (CoE) model. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this role provides strategic leadership for the Talent Acquisition function while also operating as a player-coach, directly supporting key searches and partnering closely with hiring leaders on critical roles. This leader oversees the full lifecycle recruitment function, leads a team of talent acquisition professionals, and ensures the organization attracts, engages, and hires high-quality talent aligned with workforce plans and business priorities. The Director partners closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to translate talent needs into effective recruiting strategies while ensuring a consistent, equitable, and high-quality hiring experience. The role also oversees the effective use and optimization of the Workday Talent Acquisition module to support recruiting operations, analytics, and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting leadership experience.
  • Experience leading and developing recruiting teams.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and HR Business Partners on workforce planning and hiring strategy.
  • Experience with the Workday Talent Acquisition module, including recruiting workflows and reporting.
  • Strategic talent acquisition leadership
  • Strong team leadership and coaching capabilities
  • Data-driven recruiting and workforce analytics
  • Expertise in recruiting technology and ATS platforms, particularly Workday Recruiting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise talent acquisition strategy aligned with workforce planning and organizational priorities.
  • Partner with the CHRO, HR Business Partners, and senior leaders to anticipate talent needs and develop proactive sourcing strategies and pipelines.
  • Establish enterprise recruiting standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the Talent Acquisition team, including recruiters and recruiting coordinators.
  • Set clear performance expectations and build a high-performing recruiting function that operates as a strategic partner to the business.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a hands-on recruiting leader, directly managing and supporting key or complex searches across the organization.
  • Provide consultative guidance to hiring managers and HR Business Partners on recruiting strategies, talent market insights, and hiring decisions.
  • Support recruiters in resolving complex hiring challenges and navigating critical roles.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Ensure consistent, efficient, and equitable hiring practices across the organization.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes, service delivery, and candidate experience.
  • Serve as the functional leader for the Workday Talent Acquisition module, ensuring recruiting workflows, data, and reporting support hiring needs.
  • Partner with HRIS to optimize system functionality, improve data integrity, and enhance recruiter and hiring manager adoption.
  • Utilize Workday recruiting dashboards and analytics to monitor hiring performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Track key metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline health, and hiring outcomes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the CHRO and HR leadership.
  • Strengthen the organization’s employer brand and talent value proposition.
