  • 5+ years leading or managing supply chain or planning teams in a fast-moving, low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to flex between setting strategic direction and driving hands-on tactical execution, with demonstrated leadership motivating and managing teams through other managers and outstanding people- and budget-management skills. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills required.
  • This role will require access to access information controlled under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR, 15 CFR §§ 730-780), and likely the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR §§ 120-130), and so applicants for this position must be one of a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or other Protected Individual (as defined under 8 USC § 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead Marki's supply chain organization — sourcing and procurement, inventory, shipping and logistics, and supply planning — ensuring a reliable, high-quality, and cost-optimized flow of materials and products that supports Marki's growth.
  • Establish the long-term vision and near-term goals for the organization; evaluate performance against those goals and course correct as needed.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate enterprise-level supply chain risks, including single-source exposure, geopolitical and tariff exposure, and capacity constraints. Build resilience through dual-sourcing, strategic inventory build, and contingency planning across the organization.
  • Oversee Supply Chain activities, including capacity planning, inventory positioning, make/buy decisions and vertical-integration strategy, to ensure Marki's RF product lines are supported through every stage of their lifecycle, whether built internally or through external partners. Be hands-on enough to step into tactical issues and escalations when needed.
  • Own Key Performance Indicators and operational metrics across supply chain and planning; provide regular updates to the VP, Operations and executive leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supply chain and planning processes, procedures, and systems — including ERP, APS, P2P, and MES — and champion the use of data analytics and AI-enabled tools to strengthen forecasting, planning, and risk visibility.
  • Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, functional peers, suppliers, and customers. Focus on building lasting partnerships with key suppliers and drive supplier pricing and quality improvements through regular business reviews and personal influence.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the supply chain organization, including staffing, training, equipment, and material purchases.
  • Lead talent acquisition and organizational design as the team scales. Partner with HR to identify staffing needs, source and interview candidates, and make hiring recommendations that build a qualified, high-performing team.
  • Set clear goals and priorities for the team, delegate effectively, and hold direct reports accountable for quality, productivity, and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and formal reviews. Manage performance and workplace issues promptly and fairly in accordance with company policy.
