About The Position

As a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT), this role has accountability for oversight of bulk drug substance delivery to the customer network, inclusive of storing and shipping bulk drug and managing the supply chain end to end. Key inputs include defining long term product volume scenarios of the business to ensure the site strategy is aligned to the customer needs; including the understanding of risks and opportunities, supporting the site in the development of overall strategy to ensure site response is aligned to the portfolio and network S&OP. Specifically ensure the most effective allocation (planning and scheduling) of resources across the site in support of customer demand. Work with Headquarters, Global Planning and Strategy to understand product scenarios, business deliverables related to customer supply and risk management. Build capability of the Site Supply Chain Team to achieve best in class supply planning and scheduling performance. Ensure daily execution of logistics tasks in compliance with EHS and GMP expectations. Drive a Continuous Improvement mindset and capability across the team to support long term aspiration and short-term delivery. Accountable for the day-to-day performance of the site supply chain team (materials planning, materials operations & logistics, supply planning, and value stream planning) in line with Headquarters planning cycles. Accountable for ensuring all GMP and compliance requirements are met within the Supply Chain Team including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training, risk management and on-time closure of audit actions and notifications. Accountable for all warehouse operations (including third party partners) ensuring delivery of KPIs in a compliant manner. Accountable for ensuring on-time supply of bulk drug substance to customers. Accountable for direct and kanban materials inventory management and targets adherence. Accountable for developing a CI mindset and capability across the supply chain team to support the Site long term aspiration of best in class. Responsible for developing a team that represents an inclusive talent pool, with capability for the future needs of the Samsung Biologics Global Network. Responsible for developing a clear succession capability within the team to ensure development and sustainable performance. Accountable for key stakeholder management with Global Planning and engagement/participation in Supply planning and Procurement meetings. Responsible for developing the capability of both Site and team members to effectively execute planning and scheduling tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in the use of supply chain standards and management tools
  • 3-5 years direct supervisory experience
  • 5-7 years in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics field working in a GMP environment
  • Flexible thinking to identify multiple options when faced with complex issues
  • Shadow of leader with developing the team through mentoring and coaching and encouraging others in the team to mentor and coach
  • Building a supportive learning environment, while giving constructive feedback
