Come Join an Inclusive Team. Supply Chain is a customer-focused Center of Excellence providing industry-leading service while delivering differential value to the business, today and into the future. We separate our Supply Chain functions into several areas; these include Asset management, Inventory Planning, Customer Service, Logistics and Integrated Business Processes management (IBP). In this contributing role, you will be responsible for leading and motivating all these different areas to provide excellent service in a manner that is efficient and cost effective. This position will support the North America (US and Mexico) and Brazil APS businesses, our compounding operations within LYB. This position is part of the leadership team of the Americas which include the Business Directors and other Functional Directors and therefore, the role also consist on collaborating with the Leadership team to achieve the Goals for the Americas Region. During a typical day, you will be accountable for managing the people and process necessary to achieve best in class Supply Chain management to serve the Customer needs and, at the same time, optimize the resources, inventories and business processes.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is required.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain, manufacturing or other related experience.
The ideal candidate will have managerial courage as well as the desire to grow and develop people.
Commercial acumen and business understanding are required for this role.
Demonstratable ability to perform in a fast-paced environment that requires rapid decision-making and task delegation with immediate impact on business results.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree or MBA.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ managerial/supervisory experience.
Prior experience managing large employee groups.
Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Able to maintain professionalism and prioritize multiple responsibilities concurrently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions is important in this role.
Composed in time-sensitive situations, comfortable delivering difficult news.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, BI, and Bourque.
Experience with ERP software such as SAP is desired.

Responsibilities

Oversee supply chain operations for APS Americas, including the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
Serve as a champion and steward of IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and ensure its proper execution and continuous improvement across the organization.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
Ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes, including raw material planning, operations planning, logistics, inventory planning, customer service, and distribution.
Collaborate with regional teams to optimize supply chain performance and address any issues or challenges.
Serve as a culture leader for the organization and continually develop our new talent pipeline.
Monitor supply chain metrics and KPIs such as OTIF performance, Inventory, and Costs to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.
Foster relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure reliable and high-quality supply chain operations.
Act as a liaison with Sales, Business, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance and other company functions to resolve problems, foster customer relationships and enhance supply chain operations performance.
Exemplify collaborative leadership by proactively managing customer demands to assure customer satisfaction results are consistent with business objectives.
Provide customer-centric infrastructure to advance business growth through cross-functional teams.
Support “Supply Chain of the Future” digital roadmap to automate work processes and enhance the customer experience.
Drive benchmark culture which may include, but not limited to, development of organizational metrics and gap closure solutions, supporting Value Enhancement Plan initiatives, and fostering a GoalZero culture.
Develop standard guidelines and operational procedures to maximize operational effectiveness while minimizing expense.
Create efficient Lead-to-Cash processes while also identifying and managing Supply Chain risks.
Accountable for logistics costs as well as to develop solutions for deviations from business plan to ensure performance metrics are met.
Establish and implement best practices on a global basis with other LyondellBasell regions.
Manage 3rd Party outsourcing relationship for transactional activities.
Ensure logistics network is maintained and optimized to provide best in class logistic costs.
Communicate clear goals to team members to foster growth and career development.
