This position provides strategic leadership and administration for Study Abroad Services within UFIC, serving as an integral member of the UFIC leadership team. The role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures related to health, safety, security, and risk management for international activities, and managing a comprehensive travel preparedness, risk assessment, mitigation, and emergency response strategy for university-sponsored international travel. The Director will also collaborate with faculty and campus partners to develop innovative study abroad opportunities, foster awareness of international programs, and ensure compliance with university policies and best practices. Additionally, the role oversees the international travel registry, liaises with international assistance providers, and prepares reports on international travel activity and program outcomes.
